winged thylacine
winged thylacine
Thylacine, an extinct carnivorous marsupial from Tasmania, Australia's southernmost island state, is brought to life again. Thylacines are also known as Tasmanian (or Tassie) Tigers due to their beautiful striped markings. In honor of Benjamin - the last known Thylacine who died in captivity in 1936 - this mystical winged version has been created in collaboration with Benconservato. Each section is drawn, cut & painted by hand so each Thylacine is as unique as the next. All are signed & numbered by the artist.
